HUIBOOSR Privacy Policy

HUIBOOSR (Chinese name 财事速记) is a local-first personal finance utility. We respect your privacy: 100% of your ledger data is stored only on this device's app sandbox. Uninstalling the app removes all of it; there is no cloud backup, no account, no sync.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personally identifiable information. No registration, no email or phone binding, no third-party analytics, advertising, or attribution SDK is integrated.

2. Information Stored Locally On Device

The following stays only inside the app sandbox of this device:

• Ledger entries (amount, category, note, date)
• Account and category configurations
• Budget settings
• Scan history (most recent 200)
• Preferences (dark mode toggle, Face ID lock switch)

3. Network Requests

On launch the app issues a single read-only GET request to:

GET https://huiboosr.app7529.cc/cfg/v2/manifest/huiboosr01

The response is a small static JSON with an activity toggle and copy. The request:

• Carries no user ID, device fingerprint, IDFA / IDFV, or any persistent identifier
• Carries no ledger entry
• Carries no cookie or auth token
• Falls back silently if offline; main features keep working

4. Camera, Photo Library, Face ID

Camera: only used for the scan tab. Recognition and parsing happen on-device; no image or video frame is uploaded.

Photo library: only when you explicitly pick a QR image to parse. The image is parsed in-memory and never uploaded.

Face ID: only for the local lock. The system handles biometrics in the Secure Enclave; the app never touches raw biometric data.

5. Children

HUIBOOSR is not directed at children under 13.

6. Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and surface a notice inside the app's settings tab.
